TSPDL Workers Union to take up wage revision issue

Jamshedpur: At a meeting of newly elected Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Ltd (TSPDL) Workers Union office bearers and members held at Golmuri Club today chaired by president Rakeshwar Pandey, a wage revision committee was formed to negotiate with the management. The meeting was held in two phases.

During the first phase, polling officials who ensured a smooth union election were felicitated. These officials included Binod Kumar Rai (general secretary TAYO Union), Parwinder Singh (Jt general secretary Tinplate Union), Naresh Chaudhary (general secretary Tata Power), Sanjay Jha (general secretary TRF Union), Dharmesh Singh (general secretary Tinplate Union), Pankaj Kumar (general secretary ISWP Union), Srikant Singh (deputy president ISWP Union), Ras Bihari Rai (vice president TRF Union) and Vijay Kumar (TAYO Union) were garlanded and presented mementos by TSPDL Union.

Returning Officer Binod Kumar Rai garlanded all TSPDL Union election winners and congratulated them and urged them to work diligently for the causes of the workers.

The second session saw a meeting of the TSPDL Workers Union office bearers and executives. The meeting, chaired by Union president Rakeshwar Pandey, was conducted by Union general secretary Aman.

Pandey, while congratulating the newly elected members, asked them to be prepared for newer challenges ahead. Partial changes were made in the Wage Revision Committee that was formed earlier.

The modified committee to negotiate wage revision with the TSPDL management includes Dinesh Kumar (deputy president), Aman (general secretary), Tridev Singh (advisor to Union president), Sachidanand, Sashi Veer rana (vice president) and Rajesh Kumar Singh (committee member).
