Jamshedpur: The newly-elected office-bearers of Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Limited (TSPDL) Employees Union were felicitated by contract workers of the company at a function organized at Bagunhatu football ground on Monday. The workers welcomed the union members by garlanding them and giving them bouquets.
Addressing the gathering, the union deputy president Dinesh Kumar said the workers need to keep their faith on company management intact. He said he had joined the company as a contract worker in 2001 and went on to become a permanent employee in 2008. He said the workers should not lose heart. He said the workers should not be misled by outsiders.
Among those felicitated today included general secretary Aman, Tridev Singh, Sanjeev Singh, vice president Sachidanand, Shashi Vir Rana, treasurer Ramesh Choudhary, assistant secretary Anish Jha, BD Singh, committee member Manoj Kumar Singh, Shashi Mishra, Pramod Upadhyaya and Ranjan Mishra.
