Jamshedpur, Nov 6: A Hyva truck hit an elderly man, 65 year old Jogina Karua near the Jaya Prabha Complex in Kadma while he was walking in the morning. One of the truck’s wheels crushed both legs of the elderly man. The driver left the truck in the middle of the road and fled the scene of accident. Local people rushed Jogina Karua to the MGM Hospital in Mango from where he was referred to the Tata Main Hospital for advanced treatment.
Jogina’s condition was reported to be critical with serious injuries to both his legs. His family members stated that Jogina was strolling outside his home on Monday morning when he was hit by the Hyva truck.
