Truck collides with tractor trolley, five laborers injured

Jamshedpur: In Badabaki, under the jurisdiction of MGM police station, a truck collided with a tractor-trolley from behind on Wednesday, causing the tractor-trolley to overturn and resulting in injuries to five laborers onboard. Promptly responding to the situation, the police arrived at the scene and, with the assistance of passers-by, transported the injured individuals to MGM Hospital. The injured workers, identified as Hatim, Manoj, Arjun, Pramod, and Aslar, hail from Bihar and were engaged in the installation of Jio wires.

In a display of public outrage, local residents apprehended the truck driver as he attempted to flee the scene after the accident and meted out physical punishment. Subsequently, they handed him over to the police, who took the driver into custody for questioning. Upon receiving news of the incident, BJP leader Bimal Baitha arrived at MGM Hospital, where he engaged with the hospital superintendent to initiate medical treatment for the injured workers.
