Tributes paid to Netaji on INA Day at Sreeleathers Jamshedpur showroom

Jamshedpur, Oct 25: A tribute program was organized on Saturday evening at the Bistupur -based Sreeleathers showroom’s Biplabi Suresh Dey Hall to commemorate Indian National Army (INA) Day.

The event began at 6 PM in the meeting hall, where Shekhar Dey, director  Sreeleathers offering a floral tribute to the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Bhaskar Mitra delivered the welcome speech, following which the guests proceeded to the main hall to pay homage at Netaji’s portrait.

The inaugural music performance by Chaitali Sarkar infused the atmosphere with patriotic fervor.

Shekhar Dey elaborated on the historical significance of INA Day, while Bimal Chakraborty delivered a compelling speech on the formation of the INA and its subsequent impact.

Other speakers, including Preeti  Roy, Pankaj Saha, and Surojit Chatterjee, shared their thoughts.

The event concluded with a musical performance, followed by a vote of thanks from the moderator.

Throughout the premises, patriotic songs reverberated as attendees paid respects to Netaji’s sacrifices and ideals.
