Jamshedpur: The Shaheed Thakur Ji Pathak Welfare Society’s National Wing observed the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Janata Party President Chandra Shekhar with solemn respect and patriotic fervour.
Led by National President Surya Pathak, the commemoration brought together several office-bearers and members at an event dedicated to recalling the late leader’s contributions to the nation.
Among those present were National Secretary Chandra Prakash Pathak, Prahlad Pathak, Akta Kumari, Manju, K. Tarun Kumar, Sisir Prabhu, and other committed members of the society.
In his address, Surya Pathak highlighted the enduring relevance of Chandra Shekhar’s ideals of resilience, sacrifice, and service. “Every youth must follow the values shown by great leaders like Thakur Ji Pathak and Chandra Shekhar Ji. Life will always bring challenges, but we must rise every time we fall. That is the true essence of life,” he said.
He further noted that both Thakur Ji Pathak and Chandra Shekhar dedicated their lives to the cause of the nation, and their examples should inspire future generations to work selflessly for the country’s progress.
The programme concluded with floral tributes, the singing of patriotic songs, and a collective pledge by members to carry forward the legacy of service and social welfare in the spirit of these eminent leaders.
