Triangular contest in CGPC election

Jamshedpur: The upcoming election for the post of Pradhan of the Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee is set to witness a triangular contest this year. The prominent contestants for the post are Harminder Singh Mindi, Harvinder Singh Mantu and Gurmukh Singh Mukhe. The convenor of CGPC election committee Harnek Singh said the election should be held at the earliest. He said the 147 voters would decide as to who would be elected on the post of Pradhan. He said the district administration wanted to conduct the election of all city Gurudwaras before the CGPC elections. Gurmukh Singh Mukhe said the CGPC should take an initiative to ensure early elections.
