Jamshedpur, Sept 12: TRF Limited witnessed enthusiastic participation in the first edition of its biannual blood donation camp, Navjeevan, organized by TRF Ladies Association (TRFLA) in collaboration with Jamshedpur Blood Centre and Voluntary Blood Donors’ Association (VBDA) on September 11 at the company premises.
The camp collected 222 units of blood. Employees of TRF, members of the Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union, TRFLA members, and other stakeholders came together to make the initiative a success.
The event was formally inaugurated by TRF Managing Director Umesh Kumar Singh, CFO Anand Chand, CHRO Abhijeet Singh, Labour Union President Rakeshwar Pandey, General Secretary Anjani Kumar, and TRFLA member Shweta Gupta. Senior executives of the company, union representatives, and TRFLA members also attended the inaugural ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Nirjala Jha from Jamshedpur Blood Centre highlighted the importance of regular blood donation and its role in healthcare. Shweta Gupta of TRFLA welcomed guests and encouraged all stakeholders to come forward for this noble cause.
The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed their commitment to continue such initiatives under Navjeevan to promote volunteerism and community service.
