Transporters meet Jamshedpur SSP over theft in vehicles

Jamshedpur, February 29. The delegation of Jamshedpur Transport Welfare Association under the leadership of  its president Akhilesh Singh Yadav submitted a memorandum to the city Superintendent of Police on Thursday.

The memorandum claims that in big goods vehicles, every day connecting copper wire, chain, thread, plastic tents, wooden gutka etc. are cut and removed from the vehicles between Birsa Munda Chowk Bhuiyadih and Mango Bus Stand via Slag Road Gate and Litti Chowk.

The memorandum further claims that coil chain is taken out from the moving vehicle. This can cause a major accident. If the driver protests, he is threatened with weapons.

The association met Senior Constable Superintendent Kishore Kaushal and informed him about the incident. On this he clearly says that if such an incident occurs with any vehicle then park that vehicle, take its photo and send it to me. Action will definitely be taken on this.

This theft incident has to be stopped completely.
