Jamshedpur : Tribal Welfare and Transport Minister Champai Soren has asked Transportation Department to meet revenue targets and accelerate the recovery.
Soren also ordered the timely completion of development work .
Champai Soren on Saturday convened meeting with district officials. JMM MLAs Vidut Varan Mahato, Ramdas Soren, including Deputy Commissioner Dr Amitabh Kaushal were also present on the occasion.
He expressed need to set up employment training center. The DC informed that the land has been identified and the tender will be issued shortly .
After the meeting, the Minister said that the Centre aims to provide employment to women for Tasar , knitting and sewing. In response to a question, the minister said that the transport department is running far behind the target .
A total of 73 percent of the revenue has been collected so far . Revenue department has been instructed to complete the goal.
