Transformer replaced within 48 hours in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: A damaged power transformer in Jawahar Nagar Road No. 4 under Ward No. 17 of Mango Municipal Corporation was replaced within 48 hours, restoring electricity supply to the area.
The swift action was initiated following the intervention of Mayor Sudha Gupta, drawing appreciation from local residents.
Ward No. 17 councillor Anita Devgam informed the mayor that the transformer installed at Road No. 4 had malfunctioned, causing severe disruption in power supply and inconvenience to residents of the locality.
Taking the matter seriously, Mayor Sudha Gupta immediately contacted officials of the electricity department and ensured prompt action. As a result, the faulty transformer was replaced and a new one installed within two days.
Residents of the area expressed gratitude to the mayor for the quick response, stating that her proactive approach made it possible to resolve the issue so swiftly. They also expressed hope that similar prompt attention would continue to be given to public grievances in the future.
With the installation of the new transformer, normal power supply has now been restored in the locality.
Several local residents and ward workers, including Manoj Rai, Rajesh Sharma, Neeraj Thakur and Anuj Mridul Ekka, also played a key role by continuously following up and assisting in resolving the problem.
