Operational issues behind disruption

Railway officials attributed the delays to multiple factors, including level crossing bottlenecks, ongoing track maintenance work, and other technical issues. These disruptions have been recurring in recent days, indicating a continuing strain on operations in the division.

Passengers endure heat and uncertainty

The situation at Tatanagar station remained chaotic throughout the day, with waiting halls and platforms overcrowded. Children and elderly passengers were the worst affected, forced to endure long waits in extreme heat and humidity.

Passengers expressed frustration over the lack of timely updates regarding train schedules, stating that the uncertainty severely disrupted their travel plans and onward connections.
