Train services to remain disrupted for three days

Jamshedpur, Dec. 4: Train services will remain disrupted in Adra division of South Eastern Railway (SER) for the three days (including today) due to non-interlocking work (repairing and maintenance work of signaling apparatus).�

�A circular issued by Garden Reach, the headquarters of South Eastern Railway in Kolkata, said that Asansol-Tatanagar Express and Adra-Barabhum MEMU Passenger stand cancelled for Friday.

The�Kharagpur-Hatia Passenger leaving Kharagpur on December 4 and 5 will be short- terminated at Adra and will run as Hatia-Kharagpur Passenger from Adra to Kharagpur on both the days. The Hatia-Kharagpur Passenger leaving Hatia on December 4 and�6 will be short terminated at Muri and will run as Muri to Hatia Passenger.

The Jhargram-Purulia Express will be short terminated at Barabhum on December 4 and will run as�Purulia-Howrah Lalmati Express from Barabhum�to Howrah.

The timing of the Danapur-Tatanagar Express�was rescheduled on Friday. The train left�Danapur at 8 a.m. instead of�6 a.m. The�Tatanagar-Dhanbad Subarnarekha Express was also rescheduled. The train left Tatanagar at�3.50 p.m. instead of 1.20 p.m. on Friday.

The� Tatanagar-Hatia Passenger will run on diverted route via Chandil-Gonda� and Muri on Friday as well as on December 6. Hence, the service of this passenger train will not be available between Chandil-Purulia-Kotshila-Muri�sections on both the days.

Meanwhile, train services would also remain affected�tomorrow due to necessary installation work for the third line project between Gamharia and Sini.

Confirming this station manager of Tatanagar O P Sharma said that Howrah-Barbil Janshatabdi Express, Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Superfast Express and Howrah-Pune Duronto Express�will run on a diverted route.

He further informed that the Barbil -Tata Passenger will be short-terminated at Rajkharsawan, while the Tata-Gua Passenger train will remain cancelled tomorrow.
