Train services in Tatanagar affected

Jamshedpur, June 8: Several trains originating from Tatanagar are facing disruptions as the railway authorities have implemented a power block from June 8 to June 10. This temporary measure is being undertaken to address issues related to a feeder bridge near Dhanbad. As a result, the timings of numerous trains have been adjusted, and some services have been canceled altogether.

The New Delhi Puri Purushottam Express, scheduled for June 7, has been rescheduled for a delay of 180 minutes. Similarly, the Hatia Express train from Purnia Court will experience a delay of 120 minutes on June 8, near the Purnia Court railway station. The Amritsar Tata Express has also been rescheduled for a delay of 120 minutes. Additionally, on June 10, the Puri-bound New Delhi Purushottam Express will face a delay of 120 minutes from Puri itself. Similarly, the Hatia to Purnia Express will be delayed by 180 minutes on June 10, departing from Hatia.

Further disruptions are expected on June 11 when a five-hour power block will be in effect between Asanbani and Gramdapur stations, near the Chakradharpur division. As a result, the Kharagpur Tata Kharagpur Up and Down trains have been canceled for the day. Additionally, the second train of Kharagpur Tata Kharagpur has also been affected by the cancellations. The Tata Barkakana and Tata trains have also been canceled on June 11. The Titlagarh Howrah Ispat Express, originally scheduled for June 11, will be rescheduled with a delay of 180 minutes. Moreover, the Asansol Tata passenger train will be short terminated on June 11. In related rescheduling updates, the Pune Howrah Duronto Express will be delayed by 60 minutes on June 10. The Barbil Howrah Janshatabdi Express will experience a delay of 45 minutes on the same day. Additionally, the Sainagar Shirdi Howrah Express will be rescheduled with a delay of 90 minutes on June 10.
