The Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express, which travels via Tatanagar, was stopped for 30 minutes on Tata-Chakradharpur section while the Tatanagar-Bilaspur Passenger was halted for 30 minutes on Chakradharpur section.

The railway traffic block prompted several trains including Tata-Bilaspur Passenger and South Bihar Express to run on diverted routes.
