Jamshedpur, Sept 28: The South Eastern Railway has announced multiple cancellations, diversions, and rescheduling of trains passing through Tatanagar in view of Durga Puja rush. The official notification was issued on Sunday.
Cancelled trains include 68043/68044 Tatanagar–Rourkela MEMU, 68025/68026 Chakradharpur–Rourkela MEMU and 68137/68138 Tatanagar–Chandil Bazar MEMU on September 28–29. Additionally, 68046/68045 Asansol–Adra MEMU Passenger will remain cancelled on September 29 and October 5. 68055/68056 Asansol–Tatanagar MEMU will run only up to Adra on October 4. The 13503/13504 Bardhaman–Hatia MEMU Express will start/terminate at Gomoh on October 3 and 5. The 18019/18020 Jhargram–Dhanbad Express will operate only up to Bokaro Steel City on September 29, October 3 and October 5.
Rescheduled trains: 18184 Buxar–Tatanagar Express will depart 90 minutes late on October 5, while 18036 Hatia–Kharagpur Express will leave Hatia two hours late on October 4.
Diversion: 18601 Tatanagar–Hatia Express will run via Chandil–Govindpur–Muri instead of Chandil–Purulia–Kusundadrumuri on October 4.
The railway administration has appealed to passengers to check train status before traveling to avoid inconvenience.
