Train safety and passenger comfort top priority: AGM during Tatanagar station inspection

Jamshedpur, August 20: The AGM (Additional General Manager) of South Eastern Railway, Anil Dubey, inspected Tatanagar Station on Sunday. During the visit, Assistant ADRM of Tatanagar, Abhishek Kumar Singhal, ADRM Vinay Kujur, ACM (Commercial) Baban Kumar, Station Director Raghuvansh Kumar and Tatanagar RPF Post In-charge SK Tiwari, along with other officials, were present.

Following the scheduled program, the AGM first held a meeting with all the officials and then proceeded to inspect the guard lobby. From there, he went straight to the second entry gate. Observing water on the floor that trickled down from the water filter near the second entry gate, he expressed dissatisfaction and instructed the officials concerned to immediately rectify the problem. He then proceeded to inspect the parcel room.

Addressing the media, AGM Anil Dubey emphasized, “Safety of trains and the convenience of passengers are top priorities.” He discussed how complaints received through the ‘Rail Madad’ app were being addressed. He explained that the operation of between84 and 90 trains were currently being managed within the section, which accounted for late running of several trains.“Moreover, frequent block periods also contribute to delays,” he stated.

The SER AGM, during his inspection, urged the officials to focus on night inspections and engage with the local community to minimize accidents. (w/gsd)
