Traffic posts to come up at 12 places in Chaibasa to strengthen traffic control

Chaibasa : The district administration has decided to come up with 12 new traffic posts to strengthen traffic network.  An important meeting was organised under the joint chairmanship of West Singhbhum District Deputy Commissioner Arwa Rajkamal and Superintendent of Police Indrajit Mahatha. In the meeting, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer cum District Transport Officer Paritosh Kumar Thakur, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Amar Kumar Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Sudhir Kumar along with Executive Engineer Drinking Water, Road Construction Department cum National High Division Chaibasa, Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Chaibasa, Traffic Inspector, Chaibasa, station in-charge, Sadar Chaibasa and other concerned officials were present in the secret office of the Deputy Commissioner.

Moreover, 10 places have been selected as parking spots.The city is also finding difficulty in complying with social distancing and especially under coronavirus control. The Deputy Commissioner said that it is often seen by the shopkeepers that they keep their goods slightly ahead of the shop, which makes it impossible to comply with social distancing in the market if parking is done by a vehicle there. The Deputy Commissioner said that in this period of Corona, no one should be negligent and traffic control is also important keeping in mind the compliance of social distancing.
