Trade license camp generates revenue of Rs 92,780 in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 13: A special trade license camp was organized at Maya Complex, Birsanagar under the guidance of JNAC Special Officer on May 13. This camp was part of a series of camps being held in different areas of Jamshedpur since May 4 to facilitate trade license applications.

A total of 100 individuals attended the camp at Maya Complex, where they were provided with information on the application process. Out of these, 55 new trade license applications were received, while five applications were received for renewals. The revenue generated from new trade licenses amounted to Rs 85,000, while renewals brought in Rs 7,780. In total, the camp generated revenue of Rs 92,780.

The next camp will be held on May 15, 2023, at Azad Market, Near Kali Mandir, Telco. Shopkeepers and business establishments that have not yet obtained their trade licenses can attend the camp and submit their applications.

To obtain a trade license, applicants will be required to provide the following documents: a photocopy of their Aadhaar Card, a rent agreement for the shop or business establishment, an electricity bill, and, in the case of a partnership firm, the partnership deed and PAN card of the company. The team of City Manager Anay Raj and Spero Softtech were present at the special camp to assist applicants with the application process.
