Jamshedpur, May 13: The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee has started work to remove stray animals from the city’s streets. As part of this initiative, a bull was captured from the Sonari area and safely taken to the Shri Tatanagar Gaushala.

Special Officer Sanjay Kumar explained that stray animals roaming on the roads cause difficulties and fear among people. To address this issue, a plan was developed to capture unclaimed animals and transport them to the Gaushala. Ramanand Welfare Society has been selected to catch the animals and information has been relayed to all police stations under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner.

Kumar also urged cattle rearers not to leave their animals on the road. If an abandoned animal is caught, the cattle rearer will have to pay a fine. Additionally, a doctor will be present to administer first aid if the animal is injured during capture. The team responsible for capturing unclaimed animals includes Mandeep Mehta, Dr. Dheeraj Kumar, Anand Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Mukesh Kumar Yadav, and Sadhu Yadav. This initiative will help keep the city’s streets safe and free from stray animals, benefitting the general public.
