Trade bodies to help increase vote percentage in Steel City

Jamshedpur, Nov 20: With Assembly elections round the corner and to ensure high percentage of voter turnout, Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce & industry (SCCI) headed by their president Suresh Sonthalia along with District Labour Superintendent (DLC) SS Pathak with his team comprising of Labour Superintendent Ravindra Pratap Singh, TP Singh, Factory Inspector Bharat Bhusan held a meeting with the various business organizations, Corporate Houses, Eylex, Relaince and Labour Unions representatives of Jamshedpur.

At the meet Sonthalia said that during the Loksabha election in 2014 Chamber along with its associate organizations had organized Nukkad Natak, put up hoardings, pamphlets, posters, advertised through radio channels so that the vote percentage can increase and the same was reflected in the results that came out.

This time the assembly election which is utmost important for the development of the state chamber like earlier will be making people aware to cast their important vote for the development of Jharkhand. Sonthalia on the occasion appealed the shop owners and traders to cast their vote for sure.

District Labour Superintendent (DLC) SS Pathak appreciated the work done by Chamber and appealed all the shop owners to close their shops which has been ordered by the state election commission and if any shop found a case will be registered.

The trade unions, Industrial houses have also advised the business houses to give off to their staffs on the day of election. At the meet Jamshedpur Transport Welfare Association, Singhbhum Mobile Dealers Association, Sakchi Retail Merchant Association, Jamshedpur Welfare Association and other business organizations ere present.
