Baharagora: The 11th death anniversary of the founder of DAV schools in Jharkhand and Bihar, Narayan Das Grover was observed today at TPS DAV School in Baharagora with teachers offering flowers before the portrait of the social worker who worked astutely for the progress of education.
Anushka Raut, student of Std IX spoke at length about Grover�s contribution and sacrifices in the course of his life. Teacher J Nandi informed about the founder�s social activities and his philosophy while another teacher SS Dash defined the preacher and pursuer of education as a person who devoutly worked for the spread of education by establishing the DAV schools in Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal and Odisha.
Principal Anup Kumar asked the students to inculcate the principles of truth, peace and service to society that marked the life and philosophy of Narayan Das Grover.
Teachers, staff members and students of the school were present during the function.
