Jamshedpur, April 26: Now tourists can enjoy safari in the mountains of Dalma. The Forest Department has started preparations regarding this. The Forest Department has also prepared six vehicles for the safari. It is expected that it will start in the month of May.
As soon as the safari starts, the tourists coming to Dalma will also enjoy the safari. According to Dalma DFO Abhishek Kumar, 12 to 15 guides have also been hired for the safari, who will be local residents only. All kinds of training has also been given to the guide. Guides will also accompany in the safari so that the tourists do not face any kind of problem.
The DFO said that vehicles are being prepared for the safari at a total cost of Rs 90 lakhs. A total of six vehicles have been purchased for the Safari, in which some changes are being made. All kinds of facilities will also be available in these vehicles. In this, special care has also been taken for the safety of the tourists, so nets are also being installed in the vehicles. Each vehicle will have seating facility for 10 people. Till now the ticket amount has not been decided for this. The amount will be decided after the meeting.
The DFO told that every year lakhs of tourists from nearby places including Jamshedpur come to visit Dalma. Cafeteria has also been opened for the tourists in Dalma along with other facilities are also provided. Safari has been started only on the demand of the tourists. The safari will start from Mukalakocha and go up to Dalma Hill Top and then come back to Mukalakocha. There is also a guest house facility for the tourists which can be booked online. Online booking can also be done for Safari. Work on it is still going on.
