Ranchi: The High-level meeting of Tourism Development Corporation Limited was held today under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner, Sudhir Prasad.
The important agenda related to development of Tourism in the State were discussed in the meeting. The Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner was made aware of the problem of city bus service serving the City.
Shri. Prasad directed the Department to provide robust city bus service and follow important guidelines after hearing all the problems related to city bus service.
Prasad said that some decisions related to city bus service will take up in the Board meeting which will be held by 31st of August. It was decided in the meeting to start up the Madhuvan Tourist as the outstanding amount has been cleared so now there is no problem in opening the Madhuvan Tourism Place.
The Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner laid stress on development of many tourist places of the State. He enquired about the matter of Sakchi Vihar at Jamshedpur.
The official of Tourism Department informed that the map of Sakchi Vihar, Jamshedpur has been passed and after a time period of nine months it will be opened for all. The progress of Birsa Vihar, Baidnath Vihar Tourism and other tourism places were reviewed in the meeting.
Tourism Secretary, Avinash Kumar, Industry Director, Dipankart Panda, Director, Art, Culture & Youth Affairs Department, Dadan Choubey, Managing Director, JTDCL, Sunil Kumar and other officials were present in the meeting.
