Verification of educational institutions on the e-Kalyan portal for pre-matric scholarships was also emphasized.
The administration directed the immediate operationalization of the hostel at Lakhaidih and reviewed facilities with low or zero occupancy. Expressing concern over vandalism at Jamshedpur High School, Bistupur, the Deputy Commissioner ordered strict police action. Arrangements for Aadhaar enrolment of students and construction of additional classrooms were also discussed.
In view of the approaching summer, the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, along with block administrations, has been tasked with identifying and repairing defunct hand pumps and water supply systems.
