Jamshedpur : M.Sampath Kumar, CEO, TML Drivelines Ltd inaugurated its Total Fluid Management ( Lube & Coolant Management ) at their Unit B ( Transmissions ) today. This service is being provided by VAS Tribology Solutions Pvt Ltd in association with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. With the introduction of this service, TML Drivelines Ltd, will not only substantially cut down its lubricant and coolant consumption, but also have better reliability of its machines and quality production.
Besides M.Sampath Kumar, persons who attended the function were, Udey Dhir, managing director, VAS Tribology Solutions.
In the TFM services, VAS Tribology Solutions will be deputing specially trained manpower on the shop floor . The services covered in this are Grade Selection, Inbound logistics, Inventory Management, In Plant Movement, Topping Up Services, Condition Monitoring, Renewal of Fluids, Data analysis of consumption and assistance in the environmentally safe disposal of used oils.
Till date, there is no agency providing all these services under one umbrella.
Looking at the usefulness of the service, a lot of industrial undertakings are likely to take advantage of the knowledge that VAS Tribology Solutions has in this field. Usha Martin Industries Ltd. (Wirerope Division ), Ranchi has been using these services from VAS Tribology Solutions for over a year and have made substantial savings.
