New cafeteria, digital payment system and upgraded facilities inaugurated
Jamshedpur, December 26: Tata Main Hospital (TMH), Jamshedpur, inaugurated a series of new and upgraded facilities aimed at enhancing patient care and visitor convenience. The inauguration ceremony, held at the TMH Auditorium, marked the opening of the renovated nursery, a new cafeteria, an online in-patient (IP) payment system, a Single Point Admission Counter (SPAC), and an ICICI Bank ATM facility.
The event was graced by D B Sundara Raman, Vice President – Corporate Services, Tata Steel, as the Chief Guest, and Shailesh Kumar Singh, Deputy President – Tata Workers’ Union as the Guest of Honour. Both dignitaries were warmly welcomed by the senior leadership team of TMH.
The programme commenced with the inauguration of the renovated nursery and ‘Savor Café’ cafeteria, followed by the launch of the online IP payment system, the Single Point Admission Counter, and the ATM facility. These initiatives are designed to streamline hospital processes, improve accessibility, and enhance overall patient experience.
The newly launched online IP payment system enables patients and their families to make secure payments remotely, reducing the need for physical visits for financial transactions. The platform supports multiple payment options, including debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and UPI, offering greater convenience and efficiency.
Dr. Vinita Singh, General Manager, Medical Services, Tata Steel highlighted the importance of these developments in strengthening patient-centric care. The upgrades reflect TMH’s continuous efforts to integrate advanced healthcare services with digital convenience and improved amenities.
The event was attended by senior officials of TMH and representatives from various departments of Tata Steel.
