TMH extended Covid test facility at NTTF discontinued

Jamshedpur, Feb 4: With the Covid surge in  Dec’21 and huge numbers for Covid screening, Tata Main Hospital had extended the Covid testing facility at the old NTTF Centre ( Safety Excellence Centre ) from 7th Jan’22.

Keeping in view the reduced numbers for Covid screening at NTTF, this extended screening facility is being stopped from 6th Feb’22. The booking slots will be available for NTTF only till Saturday i.e. 5th Feb’22.

Now the screening for Covid by RTPCR / RAT as outpatient service will be at the Virology section of the OPD complex on the first floor at TMH, as per the existing timings -Monday – Sat – 6AM – 10 PM and Sunday – 6 AM – 2 PM.

For travellers coming beyond the routine hours – to be facilitated at the Emergency department as follows- Mon – Sat – 10PM – 6 AM and Sunday- 2PM – 6 AM.
