Tinplate Mahila Inter College seeks MLA’s support for expansion

Demand for More Seats, New Hall and Lease Resolution Raised Before Purnima Sahu

Jamshedpur, July 10: The management committee of Tinplate Union Mahila Inter College on Friday paid a courtesy visit to Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu and submitted a memorandum highlighting several important issues related to the college.

During the meeting, the delegation discussed the growing needs of the institution and requested the MLA to help increase the number of seats in view of the rising student enrollment. The committee also sought early resolution of the pending land lease issue and demanded the construction of a new multi-purpose hall to support academic, cultural and extracurricular activities of the students.

On the occasion, college management committee president Rakeshwar Pandey felicitated MLA Purnima Sahu by presenting her with a shawl. He also briefed her about the college’s present challenges and the need for improved infrastructure to meet the increasing demand for quality education.

MLA Purnima Sahu assured them that she would take up the matter with the concerned government departments. She said every possible effort would be made to resolve the issues at the earliest.

Those present included college secretary Parvinder Singh Sohal, Tinplate Union general secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, senior vice-president Sai Babu Raju and principal Mamta Swaiy.
