Jamshedpur, October 12: Six-day closure has been taken at Timken India’s plant in Jamshedpur.
A circular regarding this has been issued by Jamshedpur Plant GM Rajeev Kumar. Under this, due to Durga Puja, the operation of the plant will remain closed from 19 to 24 October. Apart from this, one has to face difficulties in getting the inventory during this period.
Essential services of the plant will operate partially. As per the earlier agreement between the management and the union, 50 percent leave will be adjusted for the said period. Employees will get 50 percent of this salary.
