Jamshedpur, Dec. 15: RVS Academy organized Tiffin Contest on Friday, December 14 at the school premises where mothers of students of Nursery to class 2 were the participants.
The contest was initiated to promote the habit of eating healthy wholesome meals and for saying NO to junk food. Everyday it becomes mandatory for mothers to plan nutritious tiffin for their kids as they spend 5 to 6 hours in school.
It was indeed a special day where the mothers got an opportunity to display their culinary skills keeping in mind the likes and dislikes of their kids. The 35 enthusiastic contestants displayed mouth watering and lip smacking vegetarian platters prepared with utmost care and accuracy.
The judges for the event were Sonali Sen and Monidipa. It was indeed a tough time for the judge to decide the winners as each seemed incomparable. The judgement was on the basis of presentation, execution and the taste of the items.
Shahjahan Khatoon mother of Hamdan Ahmad won the first prize followed by Mayuri Singh mother of Satwik Kumar and Gurmeet Kaur mother of Manmeet Kaur.
The occasion was graced by the Principal and the Vice Principal of the school.
