Thunderstorm and rain expected in Jamshedpur on Friday

Jamshedpur, June 27: On Thursday, several districts of Jharkhand, including Kolhan, experienced rainfall, with heavy rains in some areas and drizzle in others. Jamshedpur and its surrounding areas also saw drizzle, causing discomfort due to heat and humidity. The highest temperature recorded on Thursday was 39.8 degrees in Daltonganj. Across Jharkhand, including Kolhan, temperatures remained below 40 degrees. Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 36.8 degrees, Ranchi 33.4 degrees, Saraikela Kharsawan 38.1 degrees, and West Singhbhum 34.4 degrees.

A yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms and rain on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department’s Ranchi Center, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in the districts of Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Koderma, Giridih, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Sahebganj, Pakur, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Latehar, Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Saraikela Kharsawan. Wind speeds are expected to be between 30 and 40 km per hour.
