Jamshedpur, May 22: A tragic road accident occurred near Bambu Hotel on NH 18 within the Baharagora police station area of East Singhbhum district, leaving three members of the same family critically injured.
The accident transpired when a ten-wheeler container collided forcefully with a motorcycle, causing severe injuries to the rider, Arun Kumar Maiti (36), his wife Sanchita Maiti (28), and their son Suman Maiti (6). Prompt action by locals facilitated their swift transportation to the Baharagora Community Health Center via a 108 ambulance.
Following initial treatment, the severity of their injuries necessitated their referral to PRM Medical College, Baripada, for further medical intervention. Reportedly, both the motorcycle and the container were traveling from Jamshedpur towards Baharagora when the collision occurred.
