Seraikela, May 10: Three persons were injured in a road accident on the Seraikela-Kandra road late Monday night.
The victims, one Ajay Mahato (37), his wife and son, were taken to Seraikela Sadar Hospital where they were referred to MGM Hospital for better treatment, sources said.
The mishap occurred when an unknown vehicle knocked down Ajay’s bike at high speed. Ajay, a resident of Bankati village under Govindpur panchayat, was going to Manik Bazar from Dugni with his family to participate in a wedding ceremony.
Mahato sustained fracture in one leg while his wife and son sustained minor injuries in the incident, police said.
