Seraikela: Seraikela police arrested three persons in a cash loot case on Tuesday. The accused were identified as Pandey Sardar, Vasudev Maharana and Shankar Mahato.
They had allegedly robbed Rs 2 lakh from Rajkumar Samant, a sand ghat employee. This was informed by the SDPO of Seraikela Ajit Kumar.
He said the accused persons had looted the cash from Samant when he was on his way to Jamshedpur on a bike.
As the victim reached Gengeruli village, the three along with four others looted the cash at gunpoint.
He had collected the money from Dumurdiha sand ghat as royalty given to the government by sand miners.
