Three-day technical fest, ‘Tech Root 2.0’ at Srinath University Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, September 13: Srinath University in Adityapur organised a three day technical festival, ‘Tech Root 2.0,’ in its campus that commenced on Wednesday, September 11 and concluded on Friday, September 13. ‘Tech Root 2.0’ was organised by Srinath University in association with the School of Engineering and School of IT. This fest was the second of its kind being organised in Srinath University. Competitions in the fields related to but not limited to technology, engineering and computer applications were included in this tech fest. All competitions were open to participants from Classes 10 to 12 at the school level as also for students between the undergraduate and post graduate levels of any stream or department. The competitions included Bridge Kriti, Sudoku Puzzle, Solve the Rubik’s Cube, E-Games, Logo Designing, Treasure Hunt, Memes making, Website Designing, Documentary, Reels Making, Robot-War, Photography, Working Model and Code Militia. The Chief Guest at this three-day techno- extravaganza was Dr. Ajoy Kumar, Ex- IPS and Former MP, Jamshedpur. While addressing the students and teachers, he gave many productive suggestions to achieve success in life. He advised everyone to wake up at five in the morning, organise the bed, exercise daily, remove social media accounts, read ten pages daily and dress properly. He even gave the example of some prominent people who followed the same routine in their lives including Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft and Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe Systems. He concluding observation was, “I’ll be the happiest, If you do well in life.”

He was felicitated with a shawl, memento and a painting presented by the Chancellor of Srinath University’ Sukhdev Mahato. The winners of all the competitions were given certificates, trophies and prize money for their achievements. E- Certificates were given to all the participants. The vote of thanks was delivered by Shashikant Singh, Head of the School of Engineering, Srinath University.
