Jamshedpur, February 3: The Inter NIT 2024, hosted by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, kicked off, setting the stage for showcasing talent and sportsmanship. The three-day event that commenced on Friday, February 2 will culminate on February 4.

In the yoga category, the girls’ performances were amazing. Participants from various NITs demonstrated their prowess in Asanas, Surya Namaskar, and Kriyas, leaving lasting impressions. The boys’ segment completed the performances of Asanas and Surya Namaskar, with the grand finale of Kriya scheduled for the event’s closing day on February 4.
The chess arena witnessed intense battles, with VNIT Nagpur emerging as the early leaders in boys’ fixtures, securing two victories. However, NIT Durgapur, Trichi Allahabad, and Bhopal were close at their heels, promising an exciting competition in the coming rounds. In the girls’ fixtures, MNIT Jaipur had asserted its dominance, closely pursued by NIT Puducherry.
On Saturday, February 3, at 6 :30 pm, Rishabh Jha (IPS, Railways) will be present during the semi-final match of the table tennis tournament.
