Three criminals arrested while hatching conspiracy in Jamshedpur, police seize two pistols

Jamshedpur, Oct 24: The police seized two pistols by arresting three criminals from Bagbera police station area. They were nabbed while they were hatching a conspiracy to commit crime by planning at Wireless Maidan. A scooter which the criminals had parked at the spot was also seized beside the fire-arms, which included a sophisticated .45 Chinese-made pistol.

Those arrested were identified as Popo Munda (25), Shushil Patro (24) and Rajneesh Gupta (23), all residents of Bagbera.

�Deputy superintendent of police (law and order) Alok Ranjan said that acting on tip off three suspected criminals were nabbed in the Wireless Maidan.

“As we got the information, we set up a team comprised of Jugsalai and Bagbera thana officials immediately.� About 20 policemen beside six policemen arrived at the Wireless Maidan and surrounded those assembled there at the unearthly hours may not escape.� Soon a section of police officials raided the place and took all the three persons in our custody,” said Ranjan.

�The DSP (law and order) informed that they recovered two pistols from as many persons.� He said they recovered a .45 �pistol from the possession of Munda and the other pistol from the possession of Patro.
