Durga Puja Bhog commercialized by Jamshedpur hotels, complaint lodged at Bistupur PS

Jamshedpur : Though the Jharkhand government has banned the distribution of bhog but several city hotels are selling bhog. Taking advantage of Covid, many hotels in Jamshedpur have started big business in the name of selling bhog. On the day of Durga Puja, several hotels have issued their advertisements in the name of selling bhog and are distributing bhog for Rs 250. Hotel Nataraj on Bistupur Main Road, Bon Appetite Restaurant, Radhey Tiffins are selling bhog on the occasion of Ashtami and Navami. Apart from this, there are many hotels which have started doing business in the name of indulgence.

Hinduist organizations and Durga Puja committees have strongly protested against the exploitation of money in the name of such indulgence. In connection with this, Arun Singh has filed a written complaint in Bistupur police station. The written complaint states that the district administration should immediately sue people who have hurt such religious beliefs under Covid-19 and also send a case to incite religious sentiments. Complaints have been made on this at many levels.
