Jamshedpur, April 30: West Singhbhum police arrested three persons in connection with the gang-rape of a married woman in Tantnagar police station area here on Saturday.
Those arrested were identified as Sidi Samad alias Bablu Joto, Abhishek Banra alias Dango and Shankar Sundi, all local residents, police said.
Sources said the victim was sleeping with her two kids in her house in the morning when the three persons entered her house and raped her by turns. The accused persons also allegedly threatened the victim against telling anyone about the incident, sources said
The victim informed her husband about the incident. Her husband narrated the story to the village head who informed police and got the FIR registered against the three accused. Cops arrested the accused persons late night from their houses and sent the victim to Sadar Hospital for medical examination.
