Jamshedpur: City police here on Friday arrested three persons in connection with the theft of household appliances, clothes and other valuables from the house of one Kriti Anand Singh under Govindpur police station area on the night of 20th June last.
Those arrested were identified as Abhishek Kumar, Animesh Kumar and Sonu Mishra, all local residents. Cops recovered the stolen clothes and confiscated two motorcycles used in the crime.
Police officials said they detected the theft on the basis of CCTV footage collected from the locality. On investigation, cops found out that three persons were mainly involved in the crime. During interrogation of the arrested persons, cops identified two more accomplices of the accused, identified as Golu and Karan.
