Jamshedpur, July 21: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato Thursday congratulated Droupadi Murmu on being elected as the 15th President of India. He said her election had created history as an Adivasi woman from a humble background had reached the highest Constitutional post through her grit and determination. He said PM Narendra Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah deserved praise for picking Murmu as the presidential candidate.
“This is only possible in BJP. Droupadi Murmu jee’s election shows that even an ordinary citizen can reach the top Constitutional chair in the Indian democracy. It also shows that Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s dream of Antyodaya is coming true,” said the MP.
Mahato thanked all MPs and MLAs of the country for supporting Murmu and congratulated all citizens including the people of Jamshedpur for Murmu’s victory.
