Third phase of Momentum Jharkhand in Nov: CS

Jamshedpur, Aug. 19 : Chief secretary Rajbala Verma on Saturday announced to organise the third phase of ground breaking ceremony of about 50 projects under Momentum Jharkhand in November this year.

Addressing a press conference soon after the second phase of the event at Gopal Maidan, Verma said the State government is focussed on promoting investments in the State, after the ground breaking of 74 projects today, several companies are lined up for the third phase.

She said that the idea is to build a favourable scenario for the investors.

Accompanied by additional chief secretary Amit Khare, CM’s principal secretary Sanjay Kumar and Sunil Kumar Barnwal, secretary, department of industries, Verma informed that about ten IT projects are coming up in Jharkhand in September this year.

he projects vary in their field from chip manufacturing and BPOs to virtual reality. She said the Government is confident of fulfilling all requirements of industries.

The Chief Secretary today also announced the creation of a Central Inspection Agency to improve transparency in the inspection process.

A CRD application was also launched for businesses to give feedback to the government on the quality of services being provided.

Apart from this a portal developed for obtaining license for manufacture of drugs or renewal of license was also launched.

Portals for approvals of directorate of fire services, department of excise and prohibition and electrical inspectorate was also launched.
