Thieves decamped chest from post office

Jamshedpur: Burglars have sneaked into the post office on post office road last night and made away with chest kept at the post office.

The thieves though could not lay their hands on any valuable articles, ransacked the post office.

Post master Jagannath Sao said that the post office staff Tamal Mandal when reached the office found locks broken.

Sao said that he had intimated higher department officials about the incident.

He said that the burglars took the chest and some CDs along with them. A case has been registered with Mango PS in this regard, he said.
