Jamshedpur, Feb 20:Security personnel have arrested a thief red-handed on Saturday night from the premises of Tata Steel works under Bistupur police station area. After this he was handed over to Bistupur police. The police have also recovered 10 kg of copper from Mubarak Ali a resident of Jugsalai Garib Nawaz Colony’s and lodged a criminal case against him.
Regarding the accused, the police say that he had entered the company’s boundary wall at 8 o’clock in the night. After this, the company was trying to escape by stealing the copper wire kept in the premises. Meanwhile, the eyes of the security personnel fell on him and he was chased and nabbed. The accused has been sent to judicial custody by the police on Sunday evening.
