Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Bistupur police arrested a thief, identified as Manoj Sarkar, red-handed while stealing wires from Tata Steel premises on Saturday.
Sources said the accused was spotted stealing wires inside the company around 6.15 pm. He had allegedly scaled the boundary wall to gain entry. He was soon rounded up by the security personnel and handed over to police, sources said.
According to police, the accused has been arrested for the first time. An FIR was lodged against Sarkar on the information of Biro Pradhan of the company.
