Jamshedpur, May 28: In a harrowing incident reported on Thursday morning a thief around 35 years old was so badly beaten up by the public that he died at MGM Hospital and was yet to be identified.
According to one of the suspect, the thief was held stealing at Veer Kuwar Singh Chowk, Station Road under Jugsalai Police Station and suddenly the locals of the area and public gathered and started thrashing him.
The pounding was so harsh that after a while he lied down unconscious and was taken to MGM Hospital and after a while he died undergoing treatment.
