‘The Joy of Giving’ in JUSCO School South Park

Jamshedpur: In a heartwarming display of compassion and community spirit, around 2000 students from JUSCO School South Park (JSSP) came together to mark the culmination of the Joy of Giving week. With the motto “Sharing the joys actually multiplies,” the school orchestrated a remarkable initiative aimed at spreading joy to those in need.

The students extended their generosity by donating essential items such as grocery items, blankets, and food packets to the Cheshire Home and Old Age Home. The gesture aimed to bring smiles to the faces of individuals residing in these care facilities.

In a noteworthy contribution, Std 12 students took the lead by donating 120 blankets and 120 lunch packets to the Old Age Home located in Baradwari. This thoughtful gesture aimed to provide comfort and warmth to the elderly residents during the winter season.

Meanwhile, students from Nursery to Std 11 joined forces to make a substantial donation to Cheshire Home in Sundernagar. The contributions included 180 kg of sugar, 300 kg of rice, 15 kg of noodles, 90 kg of pulses, and 85 kg of detergent soap. In addition to these essentials, the students also shared the festive spirit by including Christmas cakes in their donation.

The entire initiative was driven by the collective enthusiasm of the students, who demonstrated a deep understanding of the joy that comes from selfless giving.
