Om Prakash Chouhan wins Putting Competition for professionals
Jamshedpur, Dec19: The Pro-Am event of the Tata Steel Tour Championship 2023 was won by Bangladeshi professional Jamal Hossain and his team.
Jamal Hossain led his team to victory in the Pro-Am event with a total score of 54.9. Jamal’s team consisted of amateurs Anil Kumar Shukla, Mr. Krishna Kumar Sharma and Rupesh Katriar.
Kolkata-based professional Divyanshu Bajaj’s team finished runner-up with a total of 55.1. Divyanshu’s team was made up of amateurs Shilpa Amin, Maya Chaudhary and Vinayak Siddhi.
The Closest to the Pin contest on Hole No. 1 was won by Raman Jha whose tee shot landed eight feet and nine inches from the pin.
The Closest to the Pin contest on Hole No. 5 was won by Vinayak Siddhi whose tee shot landed one foot and 10 inches from the pin.
The Closest to the Pin contest on Hole No. 7 was won by Vibhuti Adesara whose tee shot landed four feet and seven inches from the pin.
The Closest to the Pin contest on Hole No. 10 was won by Arun Gaur whose tee shot landed five feet from the pin.
The Closest to the Pin contest on Hole No. 17 was won by Sujata Sachdev whose tee shot landed one foot and 10 inches from the pin.
The Straight Drive contest on Hole No. 8 was won by Ravi Bhushan who landed it one foot and 10 inches from the line.
The Straight Drive contest on Hole No. 12 was won by Dr. Sushil Bajoria who landed it four inches from the line.
The Straight Drive contest on Hole No. 14 was won by Subodh Kumar who landed it nine inches from the line.
The Putting Competition for the professionals held at the JRD TATA Sports Complex was won by professional Om Prakash Chouhan, the current Tata Steel PGTI Ranking leader.
