Jamshedpur: Marawari Mahila Manch organized picnic for Thalassemia afflicted children at Nicco Park here on Saturday.
About 80 children along with their parents attended the picnic. The Manch arranged breakfast and food for the children and others who enjoyed the picnic. The organization also distributed school bags, fruit, cake, toffee, biscuits and other items among the chidren.
Marwari Mahila Manch has been organized the picnic for the deprived children every year. It is the humble initiative of the Manch to provide succor to children suffering from Thalassemia and give them happiness. Children from villages also attend the picnic in good numbers each year.
Present on the occasion were Sushila Khirwal, Dia Dudani, Vina Agarwal, Manju Mussaddi, Jaya Donkania, Lata Agrawal, Jyotsna Agrawal, Vina Khirwal and the others.
